About Ward & Jacobs, Inc.

Ward & Jacobs, Inc. was founded in 1965 by Sam Charlesworth as Charlesworth Sales Company. Sam started his agency with four lighting manufacturers, one of which is still represented by the firm - Paramount Lighting. Steve Ward joined the company full-time as a partner in May 1975. Don Jacobs joined the firm in August 1983 as a principal. As lighting fixture manufacturers' representatives, we are responsible for marketing and selling the products our manufacturers produce in our territory of eastern Missouri and southern Illinois. If your project goes beyond these areas, we are still happy to help you.

We represent primarily lighting fixture manufacturers for virtually any kind of lighting application. We have numerous samples from each manufacturer that we would love to show you. If a mock-up of a lighting application is desired, we can assist you by getting more samples and/or do a photometry layout with a rendering of how your project would look. We assist owners, specifiers, distributors and contractors. We are always willing to help you develop a realistic budget. We serve eastern Missouri and southern Illinois.
